We are a well-seasoned homeschooling family of 12+ years and counting, with individual specialties and careers in the food industry. esthetics and wellness, gardening, the creative arts, and literature. Our wealth of knowledge and appreciation for creating a cozy and warm learning environment that invites curiosity and encourages exploration brought us to creating Handmade House, which specializes in building community and individual expression in a safe and comforting home environment. Because let's be real, some things are better old-school!
Life Skills Projects + Creative Learning
Dive into group projects like building board games, creating your own yoga workout, and finding individual passions with lessons that develop practical skills and encourage a love for learning and exploration
Creative Arts + Crafts
Learn about different artists and mediums from around the world, find new ways to incorporate reading groups, writing activities, and poetry slams, expand skills in personal projects through painting, sewing, collaging/junk-journaling, stuffed animal and doll creation, sketching, watercolors, clay and pottery, science-esque art experiments like slime making, and beyond!
Cooking + Kitchen Classroom
Practice beginner and intermediate kitchen skills, knife skills, basic recipe comprehension and development, all with a focus on learning about eating well, being plant-forward, and exploring different cuisines
Students will not only learn how to cook, but also gain maturity and independence in the kitchen, as well as developing more adventurous taste-buds and flavor profiles
Nature + Gardening
Understand connection to food and science through nature and foliage knowledge that expands from lesson to practice, with hands-on activities like planting succulents, making terrariums, and putting together DIY seed-bombs and gardening sachets

Sign up for specific time sessions or for full-days with lunch breaks, and watch your child thrive in a supportive peer environment, bring home new projects and delicious homemade foods and treats, and a love for learning with a wealth of knowledge in subjects spanning from seedling science to the spice trade on the Silk Road. Students will be provided with all necessary materials and supplies for their selected camp, class, or workshop, so sign-up is as simple and forward as possible!
